  • Welcome to our warm snuggly japandi-inspired living room where we spend most of our time. We focus on using a mixture of wood and black accents to make our room more dimensional. For our flooring, we chose vinyl tiling with a mid-toned, warm hue and deep grain to add more texture and warmth to our home.
  • We love this affordable yet sleek TV console with faux fluted doors that helps to tie our living room together. It’s both a functional piece to hide our wires yet serves as beautiful decor.
  • One of our biggest investments in our living room is this full-grained leather sofa. As we host our loved ones a lot, we wanted a sofa that can be easily cleaned (as opposed to fabric sofas).
  • We added softness by using many textured cushion cases and adding colour according to the seasons.
  • We use a lot of mirrors to make our living space look bigger.
  • We like to change our decor now and then to give our home a refreshed feel. We use this cute little vase to cover our home router.
  • One key renovation decision we made was to not hack any of our walls or do any built-in carpentry (other than the existing kitchen and MBR wardrobe we inherited from the previous owners) This gives us freedom to move our furniture around whenever we get bored or when we enter new seasons (e.g. making room for our Christmas tree) or phases of our lives (when we have a child in the future) We like to rearrange our furniture every few months to enjoy our space more and change things up! Join us in our home-making journey (:
