  • Presenting our 2.4m both side seating island in our dining room. It can fit up 10 guests at a time on the island. Ive always wanted a huge conversation spot as we often have guest around. This island is the main centre piece of the open space area.
  • This space specifically also hold alot of vintage and antique piece that was pass down to me by my uncle who is a vintage collector. As you can see the pestle and mortar that i place on the island is about 60 years old. For the island i also chose a matte finish look.
  • To bring the vintage raw feel of this space i place a huge vintage pot that was passed down to me by my late grandfather. The pot is about 70+ years age. It was used to store water/rice during the days but now it a centrepiece statement. The beautiful teak sideboard are from a second hand shop Hock Siong. I love the colour and texture that complimemt this space. We also got the table lamp from Hock Siong. We display and store all the vintage pieces like camera, walkman, glass ware, metal wares and etc on this sideboard.
  • A close up on the huge art canvas that i did to place in the dining space. I believe in having some old vintage pieces at home create a sophisticated charm for our home.
  • We place a pair of Gold wall light on the wall to light up the centrepiece of the space. Having this huge pot with the raw textured give this space more character.
  • Our 2.4m island is the elephant in the room as its near the entrance of our home. We wanted so badly that our long big island to be place here because it is the main centrepiece of our home.
  • We wanted to island to be worth it and also a place where conversations can last. So we have a double side island sitting.
  • That space that i love looking by the lush green windows.
  • We still have ample space for guest to walk around even when we have guest sitting on the island. The logic to have the fridge place beside the island is when we need any condiment or water from the fridge we can just turn around to grab it.
