Render vs Reality: Classic Farmhouse 4rm HDB Master Bedroom Edition

For the 3rd part of my Renders vs Reality series, let's delve into the Master Bedroom! The main carpentry we have is just the wardrobe, with obvious aesthetic mimicking a barn door :) As it's not your regular square-shaped master bedroom, we made use of the small triangle corner on the left and built an open shelf instead.
As with our living room, we've changed the entire wood shade to a lighter wood tone, so that it looks much brighter and inviting. Still very pleased with this 3.5 years later :)

As with the open shelves, it's mainly occupied with decorative items on the top, functional decoratives (e.g. candles) in the middle, and finally day to day bedside items at the bottom (it works like a side table without actually looking like one haha!

Given the space we have in the master bedroom, which is much bigger than your typical 4-room HDB these days, we furnished it with mostly loose furniture. Ah, and not to forget my favourite built-in carpentry above our bed, which holds our projector and speaker. Projectors are now much smaller and portable, but not having to set-up every day helps, and best of all, it doesn't take up floor space!
