  • Welcome back in! This week we'll be showcasing our 2 bathrooms - Master & Common. This photo here is our Master Bathroom! Our ideas & priorities behind styling the 2 bathrooms are: 1) Keep HDB Wall & Floor tiles 2) Use toilet fittings, colours & lightings to fit it as close to Farmhouse theme 3) Spend lesser on Bathroom renovation and invest in better & long lasting fittings Our Master Bathroom has a total of 3 different light settings to cater to different mood & purpose. This is my favourite of them all as it gives off a Resort style vibe & it's perfect to help me start and end my day with, so I don't get hit with bright white lights first thing in the morning hahaha
  • This is the white light version, best used when we're cleaning the bathrooms.
  • This is the dimmest version as the LED lights are only projected under our Mirror vanity cabinet. To be honest, we had thought it was a waste of money to install this before moving in because we wondered what would be our use case. Only after moving in that we realised this setting was very useful for G to go in & out of the bathroom in the morning without worrying if the bathroom lights would wake me up in the morning because I'm a pretty light sleeper :/
  • This is the other view of our Master Bathroom and we've received a lot of comments from Friends and Family that our Master Bathroom's rectangular layout is very good because it's super spacious. I mean.. look at that amount of space we have in the shower area! We can literally spin and dance in it without worrying we'll hit the glass shower screen!
  • Moving onto our Common Bathroom, we kept everything simple and cost-friendly by purchasing off-the-shelf fittings unlike Master Bathroom where we customised the Mirror vanity & sink cabinet. We've also only have 2 light settings for this space: Mood (warm light) & Bright (white light). We've also kept the HDB bi-fold toilet doors as the wood-like finishing fits our Coastal Farmhouse theme. Besides occasional light slamming noise from strong winds, we don't have much complaints for these doors provided by HDB.
  • We took a really long time to find this off-the-shelf sink cabinet that's 70cm in length and have sufficient space at the sink top area for us to place our soaps & diffusers etc. We could have fitted a 80cm long cabinet but it would be really snug and will fit right next to our glass shower screen, which would make cleaning of both the screen & floor really difficult.
  • This is the other side of our Common Bathroom and you can see we've quite a lot of space right next to the toilet bowl (though meant for Aircon access) but not complaining because this happens to have the best sunset view when looking outwards of our house! hahaha
