  • Welcome to our kitchen! It’s a space that has limited room for creativity.
  • Unfortunately, we can't have an open-concept design due to the bomb shelter located in the center of our home. We explored various designs, always prioritizing ample food prep space and storage. Thankfully, the existing wall and floor tiles are quite aesthetic, so we decided to keep them! Thankfully, we decided to keep the existing wall and floor tiles, which feature a subtle pattern that adds a touch of character.
  • Here’s a glimpse of the raw look of both sides of our kitchen. One of the challenges we faced was concealing the gas pipe. We opted for the longest route to the service yard and then back to the stove, which you’ll see in the our setup.
  • Voila! This is how our sink and stove area turned out. We aimed for a Santorini vibe, incorporating a fresh color scheme of crisp whites and soft blues. The white cabinets create a bright, airy feel, while the bright lighting adds a clean glow to the space. It’s more than just a place to cook; it’s where my wife experiments with her culinary creations and baking. We chose Aximus sintered stone for the backsplash, loving the fine marble lines that echo the classic Santorini aesthetic. Plus, we wanted a surface that wouldn’t scratch or stain over time, ensuring it remains pristine.
  • Here’s the fridge side—space was limited from the start, but we transformed it into a functional area. We maximized food prep space and found room for our appliances. The new layout features more accessible storage solutions, including four large drawers to accommodate all of my wife’s baking equipment and our snacks. The soft blue accents in the decor tie the whole design together, creating a serene atmosphere.
  • We absolutely love how everything turned out! It’s a perfect blend of practicality and simplicity, with a clean layout that keeps everything tidy and easily accessible. This kitchen is now a welcoming space and ready for culinary adventures. Stay tuned to our next post! :)
