  • Believe it or not, our first housewarming gift, a set of Sojao crisp percale sheets, played a pivotal role in determining the colour scheme and overall style of our bedroom.
  • Amidst the mustard, clay, and olive hues, we opted for a neutral metal and wood bedframe that would complement any bedding colour. We also opted for minimal decor, as we aimed to create a low-maintenance room.
  • To create a cohesive look, we made an effort to match the metal bedframe by choosing a black bedside table and framing a poster of one of our favorite bands in black as well. The Norman table clock in an orangey brown hue from Hooga beautifully complements our clay pillows. We also opted for a simple chrome pendant light to set the perfect ambiance for unwinding and relaxation at bedtime.
  • On the opposite side of the room, we kept it mostly white with a simple dressing table that comes with a mirror. To complement the clay pillow sheets, we got a simple reddish brown chair.
  • We have a built-in wardrobe, and rather than including shelves, we designed it for hanging clothes, as we prefer not to fold our garments. We also have spotlights illuminating our wardrobe, a deliberate design choice influenced by the presence of blackout curtains in our bedroom.
  • Once the blackout curtains are drawn, this is how our bedroom appears during the daytime – an ideal setting for a peaceful nap.
