  • When deciding whether to install a shower screen in our common toilet, one of the biggest considerations is maintenance. While it adds a sleek, modern touch to any bathroom, keeping the glass spotless can feel like a never-ending task. Water spots and soap scum quickly build up, requiring regular cleaning to maintain that pristine look. To help visualize this, we used 3D rendering, which allowed us to see how the glass panel would look in our bathroom. This gave us a clear idea of how the layout would feel with the addition of the screen and made us reconsider the space limitations.
  • Another factor is space and safety. In smaller bathrooms, a shower screen could make the space feel cramped. Plus, for households with children or the elderly, there’s a safety aspect to consider—glass screens can be fragile if not handled with care, and navigating around them in tight spaces might increase the risk of accidents.
  • In the end, we decided not to install the shower screen. Prioritizing space and accessibility, we opted for a more open design that made the bathroom feel larger and safer for everyone.
