  • Our bedroom is a simple one. My favourite part of our bedroom is the view of the sunrise when we wake :) As with the other areas of the house, we added plants in for a touch of green
  • This is the bedroom before any work was done. There was a window on the right side of the room which I felt did nothing for the room other than take up space where the wardrobe would be at. The view from that window is the playground and there wasn't any airflow from that direction so we decided to seal that window up. We would then have enough space for our clothes.
  • With the BTO layout, we don't have alot of space for a wardbrobe so thats why we decided to cover the window and have an L shaped wardrobe. Even with that, we still feel we don't have enough space for our clothes :')
  • Because we love the view in our bedroom so much, we didn't want to block that view. Day curtains that are slightly sheer adds to the cosiness factor without blocking that view we love so much. Why no blackout curtains? We both can sleep anywhere and in any condition so, even if its bright out, we're sleeping like dead logs (also because they were cheaper :p)
  • We contemplated on a vanity but I don't feel like I needed one since I much prefer to do my makeup on the floor. And I wanted as much free space in the bedroom as possible
  • The entryway into our bedroom.
  • We had space for bedside tables but we saw this headboard in IKEA and thought that it would serve as a good bedside table while not taking any space next to our bed. Love a space saving idea!
  • Our wardrobe is this pretty tan colour that really matches the vinyls. The gold wardrobe handles matches the colour so well.
  • We got this fishbone cactus from Tumbleweed Plants :)
  • This headboard is so functional and has so much space for storage. Space for plants and our phones, books, bottles and candles
