  • Welcome to entryway tour with @__madeofpebbles! If you have been following us, you would know we are a big fan of refreshing layouts. Our entryway is a combination with the entryway to the kitchen and sits well within the shared zone for dining, and living. Our previous layout caters for a combination living and dining space, while the new layout here combines foyer and dining space.
  • Our highlight for the entryway has to be this one piece we custom made from Snugwood - a local carpentry. This came about from our first visit to the unit where we noticed how heavy handed the kitchen cabinet door were. We are large on sustainability, and would like to salvage the good wood it was to something we can use instead of mindlessly throwing it away. We also engaged a local carpentry, partly in support of local artistry scenes. It makes us happy to know we made good use of it today as a shoe rack and seatee :)
  • Details in the carpentry, made with their signature wood choice or birch ply.
  • This is what it was like in the kitchen before we renovated. We engaged them early in the stage so they could collect and see what they can work with and the amount available and we came to learn that they are made of solid oaks! This is just one of the furniture we got out of, we have another two that is made from the wood cabinet here.
  • Back to entryway, adding in posters, one we got from local store artist, okaydoubleyou and the dog poster from our trip to Korea. We also have a habit of collecting small coasters. These are cafe visits or just really interesting logo that we had to. p/s they are now all stuck up on the wall using blue tacks :) BLUE TACKS FTW!
