  • This is our boys room. They are 6 years old and 19 months old respectively. They have been staying in this room for a few months now. Keeping it minimal as so that lesser things to clean!
  • If you are wondering that one of the beds' sides are lifted up. We placed 3 pool-noodles on each side as so that our 19 month old won't fall in the middle of the night and it works! The Ikea organization baskets came in sets of 4. It has been our best organizational system. Its for the placement for the baby cream/lotion, diapers, diaper mat, diaper bin/mini laundry bin. We've made the bin as laundry bin for our toddler's clothes.
  • This is the pool noodle that we bought from Toys 'r' us! When we bought it, it was 'buy 1 get 1 free' promotion and hence we bought six. Three for each side and bundle it up with a string.
  • We bought two steel wardrobe whereby one is for toy's storage and another is for baby clothing, soft toys, sheets, blankets and miscellaneous. There are many reasons why we chose steel wardrobe. The major reason we chose this was, it prevents mould! We do not have an air-conditioner for now and yet mould still exist when we had a wardrobe made of wood. The wooden wardrobe only last for 1 year. It started growing moulds after 3 months and we had get it treated with different types of mould treatment and yet it still grows. We have bought almost every product in the market and yet it grew, hence we decided that its not worth to save the 1 year old wooden wardrobe. The room window is always open and well ventilated. This is when, the steel wardrobe came into the picture. We could hang magnetic items/hooks where we place our frame on the magnetic hook! These wardrobe has been time saving and the best storage system that we have for the kids room. Scroll down to see further on what were stored!
  • One of the reason why we got a steel wardrobe is because of the ability to hold magnets! We could hang notes/pictures and just, stuff in the inner cabinet where guest could not see the mess of the notes/reminders being hanged. You can get the magnetic basket holders/magnetic hooks from Daiso if you want it fast!
  • Surprise! Did not expect for us to post a very messy and disorganized toys section but this is the reality for us! The left steel wardrobe is for toys and the right is for clothing, soft toys, sheets, blankets, bags and baby supplies. It was neater before this, however, we could not help with the boys bringing in and out of the toys all by themselves. Yes, they clean up their own toys daily. We will overlook once every few months to see what is not needed anymore and tried to keep it organize but oh wells it will ended up back to this. However, we won't give up just yet, we will keep trying to have better organizations for the toys.
  • As I tagged in the first photo, there is a foldable table under the chest of drawers. The picture here shows the foldable table when it was unfolded for the boys to do their homework/ art works. Once it was folded, the foldable sofa bed became a chair and it is their private reading corner. Some times they may use the sheer curtain to add on as "privacy" to focus on reading. The sofa bed is portable as so that in case one of the boys are sick, we can bring in the bed and he could sleep on it together with our presence, in our master bedroom.
  • This is the entrance to our master bedroom. With the ladder, as decoration or at times to hang the towels, it enhance the room features.
  • We customized the wardrobe from IKEA under the range of PAX/TYSSEDAL and it cost us about $1000. It has 10 years warranty and that was why we go for it. So far once treated with mould product, it does not reappear. The tagged-link on it prices is for 3 doors only. Ours is 4. Instead of side table, we placed a Cable or Wire Box Organizer Extension. This is where we charge all of our electronics.
  • This is where we have our restful and comfortable sleep! As you all have seen my post since day one, we love white! Our quilts & curtains are no other than white in colour of course!
  • We purposely leave this area blank is as so that we could watch our movies with our projector hidden in between our pillows!
  • This is where the magic happens! Movie night, every day!
  • This is the end of our minimalist bedroom tour! Hope you enjoy our rooms and hacks! Just remember, the lesser storage you have, the lesser things you have to clean!
