Our bathrooms are 8 years old and not the prettiest spots in the house, but we want to share our recommendations and regrets we have after using this space for 8 years! This is our Master Bathroom. Because space was so tight, we switched up the door for a bi-fold door and added a long mirror and recessed sink to make the bathroom seem more spacious. We intentionally kept a space below the vanity for laundry. This way dirty laundry stays out of sight in the room, and we don’t need to bring our laundry out after a shower! 
Recessed walls in the shower are trending now, but we opted for a ledge for our soap bottles instead because we didn’t want to deal with mould growing in recesses and dirty grout lines. The ledge is much easier to clean since there’s less surface area.
