For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of having a walk-in wardrobe; a personal sanctuary and a space dedicated entirely to my outfits. Somewhere I could thoughtfully curate my ootds. However, the reality of a structural wall that couldn't be hacked threw a curveball into my plans. Undeterred, I decided to convert a full bedroom into my walk-in closet. The vision was clear: a spacious, well-organized area that could accommodate my wardrobe. The custom carpentry was meticulously planned, ensuring that every piece of clothing had its place, from shelves and hanging rails to drawers and display areas. Now, despite the initial challenge, I have a walk-in wardrobe that surpasses my dreams—a luxurious, organized haven where I can store my buys.
My wardrobe is a reflection of my OCD. It drives me nuts when my wardrobe is not meticulously organized. I ensure my clothes are color-coded to maintain order and simplicity. With my OCD driving the need for a color-coded system, it was crucial that the wardrobe be both functional and aesthetically pleasing. My interior designer understood this perfectly, taking the time to fully understand my needs.
