Out of two bathrooms, we only renovated the common bathroom. The bathroom door was originally located in the wet kitchen area. Because I needed more space for the washing machine and dryer, I moved the door to the hallway. It also makes it easier for the kids to access the bathroom at night. Moving the door means changing the position of the shower and vanity, which in turn means we have to alter and dismantle everything. I prefer a bright bathroom. That's why I chose white tiles for the walls. I used two types of white tiles: the first one is plain, and the second one has a marble pattern. I did this to prevent the bathroom from looking too plain. For the floor tiles, I chose a dark grey colour to make dirt less visible. A large mirror can help make a small bathroom look more spacious. This mirror has a height of 70 cm. Matching bottles can make the toilet cleaner and tidier. We didn’t renovate the master bathroom because the ceramic tiles and the vanity are still in good condition. However, it needed several deep cleanings. We placed the lights, toilet bowl, the shower. Added a large mirror to make the bathroom look more specious. And plants can make your bathroom look fresh.
