  • Let's talk about the Study/ Office. I'll be honest, it's the hardest room to set-up for us, and took me months of changing up, playing around and decorating before it looks like what it was now, and I still don't feel it's complete haha. There are no fixtures at all in this room, so it's a complete blank canvas, and everything feels hard to commit as we weren't sure of our WFH situation. While keeping to the farmhouse design with wooden blinds and tables, I also added a lot of soft furnishings that showcase our favourite things e.g. I love to travel so the multiple clocks with different timezones are a reference to that. P.S. prices are guesstimates as I've had them for awhile already!
  • After going through Covid, we know how we often have to look for a "nice" Zoom or Teams background image to hide what's behind us on the camera. So I've made it my personal mission to make sure both of our "backgrounds" are nicely done and yet serves its purpose e.g. storage when we take our virtual meetings. I've often gotten compliments on this and probably my proudest moment when they asked "is that background real? is this your house?" 😌
  • As you can see we have a flourishing money plant, so might as well make it part of our decorative item! It's one of those that grow regardless and doesn't have to have direct sunlight, so it drapes down on our shelves nicely 🪴
  • And of course, I love using the shelves next to the window to act as a place for my fresh flowers, since they're propped up and next to the windows 💐🌷🌺🌸🌼🌻
  • And finally, if you look through the middle, you'll see we have a perpendicular arrangement for the both of us. Mine's propped against the wall, fixed height with a moodboard in front of me; my husband uses an Everdesk (tagged above) that can switch to a standing desk, along with a second screen. His desk is more boring so I'm not going to show too much here haha. Hope you enjoy!
