Two Kids Room, Two Different Styles!

Welcome to the post with our kids' room! We have two young kids, Denise (6 years old) and Dylan (3 years old). Denise's room currently features her top loves - unicorns & rainbows!
As we foresee their ever changing needs from a preschooler to a primary school kids, we have kept their rooms flexible with no built in carpentry except the wardrobes to maximise storage space. For small homes, maximising storage space with floor to ceiling wardrobes is very important!

The Kallax oragniser from Ikea is a great addition to kids room and playrooms! Very versatile in display and organising kids books and toys.

Here's a sneak into Dylan's room!
Similarly for Dylan's room, there are no built in carpentry. You will notice that for both kids' rooms we have gone with a half painted wall with wall decal.
We have also created a cosy corner in his room to play with his favourite vehicles and a reading corner which we will wind down for the night before bedtime! As the kids grow older, we intend to customise a study area and platform bed to maximise the bay windows. But for now, it seems that Ikea furniture is working out well for us!
