  • Welcome to my morning and evening spot! Our vanity space features beautiful marble, but it’s actually not real marble! We opted for these porcelain tiles with an antiqued finish as I love the look of marble veins without the hassle of maintaining actual marble. I added two large mirrors to make the space brighter and create a sense of depth. They not only enhance the natural light but also make the area feel more spacious and inviting. I also love that we both can use this nook at the same time, each doing our own thing without having to fight for space. For instance, my husband can brush his teeth while I do my makeup 💄
  • This is what our vanity nook looked like before and during the renovation. It used to be the entrance to our master bedroom, but we closed up the wall to carve out this space.
  • We moved the washbasin to the vanity area to create more space in the bathroom. This extra space is essential for two reasons: first, we installed a glass screen as I really don’t like it when the whole bathroom gets soaked after a shower. Second, with a 192cm-tall husband, every bit of space counts! The vanity cabinet is one of only two built-ins in our home, and I’m so glad it has all the space I need to stash my toiletries and makeup collection! It’s also my “Monica’s Secret Closet” moment - it’s full of stuff, pretty messy, and definitely off-limits for guests! But not to worry, I’m in the plans to organise it (hopefully) soon and will be sharing the process on my IG! 🤭 I’m thrilled with how the vanity area has turned out. Looking forward to sharing more decor adventures!
