  • Hi everyone! This week we’re sharing about our open concept kitchen. Thankfully, most BTOs now offer the option for an open concept kitchen which we’ve always wished for. We love this concept as it creates more space in our home, and flows seamlessly to our dining and living area. Here’s a photo featuring our beautifully brighten up kitchen with LED strip lights installed at the top and bottom of carpentry. As you can see, we have ample storage spaces to store our kitchen appliances, food supplies, and other knick knacks that are hideaway to prevent an eye sore!
  • A close up of our Happie water dispenser and Nespresso coffee machine! These two are necessities for our daily, and have been such a life saver whenever we need them due to its convenience. We purposely designed and installed one of the sockets behind the water dispenser so that all ugly wires are hidden away, at least from our eyesight! 😬
  • Our two very hardworking kitchen appliances that helped us a lot for every meal! 🔥🍳👩🏻‍🍳
  • Situated on the right nearest to our service yard, is where we place our undermount sink, which is a great size IMO, especially for washing pots and pans that are larger in size! Does anyone else have two separate sponges for washing the dishes and the other for sink? 😅
  • Right above our sink is the dish rack which is very typical of every household 😬 It’s pretty messy as you can see, apart from letting it air dry, it’s closed most of the time so we don’t see those mess! For our dish rack cover, instead of choosing a different material, we opted for the same laminate as we have for the carpentry to create a seamless look for the kitchen. Love the Blum mechanism, which allows us to open the dish rack cover at any angle!
  • Must be wondering where are all our switches and sockets. Tada! It’s all hidden in here, right above our Nespresso coffee machine ;’) We catered additional sockets in cases where we need to use them for, (rice cooker, steamer, etc). Also, we have a two-way switch for the LED light which we featured on the first photo, along with the master switch for our hood and hob. No regrets at all! We hope you love our kitchen as much as we do 🫶🏻
