The domed upward facing shade radiates the light up beautifully around the area it is placed in and it has a fully adjustable reading arm, perfect for night reading!

For the price, its good quality, easy to assemble. The reading lamp neck is adjustable, though I must say it requires some strength to move it around. Make sure you buy the correct bulb as the 2 different types are needed for each lamp.
