  • The Selfoss Rug is hand-tufted rug, skilfully crafted to create tight and durable knots. The rug is plush and soft to touch thanks to the mix of wool and viscose. This beautiful rug is hand crafted using mixed colour yarns which creates the subtle red undertone!
  • Shedding of new wool and viscose rug is normal. It will shed the most when brand new and then shed less after a few months. This is because, at the end of the rug-making process, the yarns are cut to desired pile height. Cutting the pile can leave pieces of wool fiber in the rug.

  • Care
    For a new rug, vacuum (on low without a brush or a beater bar) 2-3 times a week is recommended.
    Once the shedding is lesser, vacuum weekly. Do not over vacuum as it may damage the fibers and cause more shedding.
    Every 2-3 years, seek professional dry cleaner to clean and maintain your rug's quality and durability.
    Do not expose rugs to long period of direct sunlight.
