The most prominent feature of the COTODAMA Speaker Canvas is Lyric Sync Technology, developed to display song lyrics as motion graphics for the first time in the world. The built-in engine automatically estimates the impression space of the lyrics and displays them using optimal motion graphics and fonts, with calming lyrics shown in soothing motion and uplifting melodies expressed through dynamic movement. Sound quality was developed with world-class engineers to create the feeling of a singer performing in the room, with acoustics focused on clarity, musicality, and pure voice. The Canvas model uses a large baffle plate structure and a rear-reflection method that utilizes the wall behind it as a resonating element when placed nearby, producing a rich and expansive frequency range. Technical cooperation for the lyric technology was provided by the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology.
