3 Simple Recipes To Try Out In Your Bread Machine

There's nothing more pleasing than the smell of freshly baked bread and the taste of a fluffy, warm slice of bread. If you're currently on the hunt for new recipes to try out with your bread machine, you've come to the right place! Here are 3 simple recipes that you knead to try in your Zojirushi BB-HAC bread machine ASAP: 

1. Basic White Bread

Recipe adapted from: Zojirushi 

What you'll need: 

  • Zojirushi BB-HAC bread machine 
  • 1 1/3 cups water (320mL)
  • 4 1/4 cups bread flour (544g)
  • 4 tbsp. sugar (46g)
  • 2 tbsp. dry milk (8g)
  • 2 tsp. salt (11.2g)
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. butter (35g)
  • 2 tsp. active dry yeast (5.6g)

Method: 

  1. Make sure the kneading blade(s) are properly attached, and add water to the baking pan.
  2. Add flour, sugar, dry milk, salt and butter to the baking pan. Make a small indentation in the flour with a spoon, and place the yeast there. Make sure the yeast does not touch any liquid
  3. Place the baking pan in the Home Bakery, close the lid and plug the power cord into the outlet.
  4. Select the BASIC BREAD - REGULAR setting for BB-HAC model, and crust control to the desired darkness. Press START.
  5. When baking completes, press and hold the START/RESET or CANCEL button to turn off the Home Bakery. Take out the baking pan using oven mitts and gently shake the loaf out.
  6. Let bread cool and serve.

2. Banana Bread 


Recipe adapted from: Zojirushi 

What you'll need: 

  • Zojirushi BB-HAC bread machine 
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ripe and mashed banana
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Method: 

  1. Make sure the kneading blades are properly attached, and add the ingredients to the baking pan in the order listed.

  2. Place the baking pan into the Home Bakery, close the lid and plug the cord into the outlet. Select the CAKE course, set the crust setting to LIGHT, and press START.

  3. When the add beeps sound, open the lid and carefully scrape off any flour that may be left on the side of the pan with a rubber spatula. Please be careful if the kneading blades are moving.

  4. Add the walnuts, close the lid and continue baking.

  5. When baking completes, allow the bread to cool, remove from pan, slice and serve.

3. Cheese 'N' Onion Bread 


Recipe adapted from: Zojirushi 

What you'll need: 

  • Zojirushi BB-HAC bread machine 
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 4 1/4 cups bread flour
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 tsp. active dry yeast
  • 1 1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup chopped red onion

Method: 

  1. Attach kneading blade(s). Measure ingredients precisely and add to the baking pan in the order listed, except for the cheese and onion. Make sure that the yeast does not touch the liquid.
  2. Place the baking pan into the Home Bakery, close the lid and plug the power cord into the outlet.
  3. Select the REGULAR setting for BB-HAC10 model. Press START.
  4. When add beeps sound, open the lid, add the cheese and onion, and close the lid.
  5. When baking completes, press and hold the START/RESET button. Take out the baking pan using oven mitts and gently shake the loaf out. Let bread cool and serve.
