From very small ones to those that are overwhelmingly large. Some are created and disappear in an instant, while others are shaped over a vast span of time. These undulations express the workings of nature and tell the story of the passage of time through their forms. Kifuku is a clock inspired by waves. It captures the moment when water is stirred by the wind and arranges it in a circular pattern. The shadows that connect valleys to mountains create a gradient, gently indicating the passage of time. • Designed by Noriko Hashida. A product designer, She designed household goods, furniture, and equipment with “emotional” as their theme. She also researches design using Kansei Engineering, as described in her book “Emotional Design in Practice” published in 2020. Jury member for the Good Design Award and Kids Design Award.
