Nature is defined by undulations—from the gentle ripple of a river to the grand contours of hills and mountains. Some shapes disappear in an instant, while others are carved over millennia, each telling a story of the passage of time. Inspired by these natural rhythms, Kifuku (meaning "undulation" or "contour") captures the fleeting moment water is stirred by the wind, arranging that organic movement into a perfect circular timepiece. As light plays across the clock's surface, the shadows connecting its valleys to its peaks create a soft gradient that gently marks the passing hours.
