"As simple as it gets" is my motto when it comes to the kitchen redesign. As a couple who only occasionally cooks, we do not need any thing super high tech or end in our kitchen.
However, we know about the misconception about white laminates stain easily. To actually prove it, we did do a curry and rendang gravy smear test on the laminate sample for 3 hours to check if it will stain or not.
Of course the end result is exemplary that we chose to go ahead with white as laminate from Lamitak :)
