Hi everyone! We're excited to show you our service yard for the first time. It’s all about practicality and simplicity here. We’ve kept installations minimal, featuring just the essentials: mainly two washers and the Steigen laundry rack. Take a look and let us know what you think!
On the right side of our service yard, we’ve customized a wooden storage cabinet with open shelving for easy access. We also added a metal cabinet for storing mops, laundry supplies, and other cleaning accessories. This setup helps keep everything organized and within reach. When most people visited our house, many mentioned that the cabinet resembles an army cabinet, and there’s some truth to that. Its sturdy, functional design and metal finish do give it a bit of a utilitarian feel!
The Steigen laundry rack is definitely worth the purchase! It’s practical, durable, and fits perfectly into the space. Plus, its design helps make laundry days a bit easier and more efficient. Our main washer has a 9kg capacity, which is ideal for 2-3 people. It offers multiple functions and provides guidance based on factors like wash duration, fabric type, and water levels, making laundry a breeze. For our service yard windows, we opted for privacy windows installed by an HDB-approved vendor. The cost was around $480, which is in line with the market rate. These windows offer both functionality and privacy, enhancing the overall space.
Yes, featuring our mini washer supported by a customized wooden shelf from Taobao and fits perfectly into the space. It’s connected to the main water source in the service yard and is ideal for washing dirty rags and smaller cleaning items. Its capacity is just right for this purpose, and we highly recommend it for its practicality and efficiency.
We love keeping our pegs neatly sorted by color. There’s something about the organized arrangement that’s just really pleasing to the eyes! Our wooden rack, also customized from Taobao, is a fantastic addition. It provides a great platform to set your washed clothes on before hanging them on the Steigen rack.
