  • Hi!! Welcome again to our cozy master bedroom :) This is our biggest room in this house!! We intentionally created a bigger room by changing the original location of the door to have the space to create a bigger wardrobe.
  • We opted to not have any ceiling fans so we would not have the issue of dust falling onto our bed when we clean it. With our house in a North-South facing, we do get quite a bit of wind when we open the windows. And if not, we use our air-condition or a tower fan.
  • This is my little corner of the bed. I am still in the midst of finding a bedside table, and everything has been on the floor for the longest time until I decided to use one of our stools to put them up. Our air purifier was a housewarming gift from my church friends! Tip #1 for creating a bedroom you'd never want to leave: Get blackout curtains!! These are perfect for sleeping in and getting the proper rest that we need. The staff from End Curtains were extremely helpful in making sure what we were buying was what we really needed and wanted. We initially asked for night curtains but when they showed us samples, we realised that light still does come through and what we really wanted was actually blackout curtains. They also proposed for us to consider day curtains so that we could let the light in whenever we wanted, yet still maintain some privacy from the opposite blocks. This was such a good decision on hindsight and we are so thankful they brought this up!
  • And this is the little corner of B's side of the bed. B's bedside table is a c-shaped side table, which fits perfectly with the colours of our bed frame and wardrobe laminates. It was a gift from the lady boss whom we bought our dining table from! Tip #2 for creating a bedroom you'd never want to leave: Invest in a good mattress and pillow with sheets that are extremely comfortable. Our mattress and pillows are from Woosa, and are of just the right firmness that we like. The sheets that we have are super soft and cooling, perfect for Singapore's weather!
  • Tip #3 for creating a bedroom you'd never want to leave: Create a clutter-free space in the bedroom! Storage space is so important to us. We spent a long time discussing with our IDs on the configuration and layout of our wardrobe. All of our items have a "home" in our wardrobe, like the bedsheets, bags, long dresses, blazers, etc. With everything hidden in the wardrobe, we don't have to worry about our cozy sanctuary being in a complete mess.
