  • Hi!! We're delving into a different category of post this week. We want to highlight some of our BEST BUYS so that you can keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming 11/11 sales. When doing research on our home appliances, we knew we wanted a: 1. Multi-Cooker 2. Dishwasher 3. Vacuum Cleaner 4. Robot Cleaner And here's why...
  • The NINJA FOODI is one of our most used pots in this home. 100% no regrets getting it. We are both soup lovers and having the opportunity to prepare home-cooked soup was really important to me. This Ninja Foodi allows me to choose between pressure cooking or slow-cooking the soup. It really comes down to what time I wake up and if I have sufficient time to prepare in the morning before work, or if I am rushing to prepare dinner when I get home from work. The size of the pot is also fantastic. We're able to cook up a feast with this for our family and friends too. One main reason why I chose the Ninja Foodi over other competitors is purely because my dear friend uses it too. And she has been able to cook steak with it. We have tried it too, and the best part is that our house is not oily and we don't have to scrub the kitchen floors like how I had to at my parents' house previously. Now that my friend has a baby, she also prepares soup broths with this and this is me adding another possibility for the future #girlmath because more uses means it becomes cheaper with each use heh. We waited during last year's 11/11 sale to purchase this. Its usual price is about $500+, but we snagged it at $330. The pot is also dishwasher friendly, so once we are done, the entire pot goes straight into the dishwasher...
  • ... which bring us to our next item: our DISHWASHER. We had a dinner at my friends' house once and my friend's husband was a literal salesman having a sales pitch to B about the many reasons why we should consider having a dishwasher in our new home. And by the end of the night, B was sold.
  • Our dishwasher is from Bosch. We purchased it during a sale, and bought it as a bundle deal with our built-in oven and washing machine so we could have a lower price for each of these items. We both knew we wanted to try and cook more often, and having the dishwasher makes it a lot easier especially when we are tired on weekday nights or even during weekends when we host our family and friends.
  • Most of our crockery and utensils are dishwasher friendly, and the easiest part is that we only need to remove debris such as bones or tissues. We don't have to rinse it even if there's remnants of sauces and stains. It just goes straight into the dishwasher and comes out squeaky clean.
  • All you have to do is pop in a pod, set it and leave it to do its work. I usually let it run at night and will only open it in the morning. The important thing to note is that you have to consult your ID/contractor on creating an electrical socket and water inlet/outlet point for the dishwasher!
  • Another mega love in our home is our DYSON VACUUM CLEANER. Being a girl and having long hair means that I have hair everywhere. This lets me clean the house in a jiffy. We chose the basic model for this as we didn't think of the fancier features as a need, and this gets the job done. This is the V8 slim fluffy model.
  • We bought a stand for it to hold in place in our bomb shelter and be tucked away nicely in a corner with all its attachments. It's been serving us really well so far, and the best part is that when I want to empty the bin, it's hands-free so my hands don't have to come into contact with the dust!
  • Yes, we have 2 vacuum cleaners. The Dyson vacuum cleaner is great at cleaning up really quick and it's suction power is also fantastic. But the main con for us is that it requires us to physically walk around the house and clean it up. Then comes in the ROBOROCK. This is a game-changer for us in cleaning the house. Before and after we have guests, time is so precious and I want to be able to maximise my time and energy. Instead of walking around the house with the Dyson vacuum cleaner, I'm able to just set the roborock to clean the house while I cook and prepare other things. Or when everyone has left and I have to give the kitchen countertops and the sink a good clean, the roborock helps me get more things done within a shorter time frame.
  • This is how it looks like on the app, and I am able to set it to clean the entire house or just a specific area/zone based on what I need at that moment. There are even sensors to tell me if it requires cleaning or if the dustbin needs emptying.
  • One of the best features is that it allows me to schedule when to go off on its own. Here, I've set it to run every weekday in the afternoon so that I get to come home to a nice and clean home! I hope you guys get to see what items to start adding to your cart this 11/11 sale! I find that 11/11 sales are one of the best!! And we did purchase all these 4 items during the 11/11 sale last year when we were preparing for our home. It was one of the best things we did - buying everything we love and need during a good sale with added vouchers. Happy shopping!
