  • Hello and welcome to our home! It’s been 3 months since we’ve moved in and we still find it hard to believe that this little home is ours. Our cosy home is starting to fill up and seeing the space slowly comes to life makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Love having guests over and spending time with our families and friends. We hope to create memorable and lasting memories here.
  • We’re first time homeowners and we’re so excited to show you guys around. Though our home is still a work in progress, we're always adding new touches and elements to it. First things first, we’ll start with our floorplan. This is a 4 room raw BTO flat located at Sengkang East. We knew from the start that we will be doing very minimal reno (no fancy smancy designs or build-ins) and wanted to keep everything simple.
  • Here's our living room when we first moved in! You'll find most of our furnitures round and curvy~ Thinking of adding some pop of colour (like an art canvas or frame) on our wall as it's looking a little dull at the moment haha >.<
  • Meet our cute (& heavy) coffee table. Definitely one of our best furniture buys! We wanted something unique and quirky and that would fit with our home aesthetics. & this was itttt, love at first sight.
  • The only build-in we did in the living area was this full length shoe cabinet. Initially we didn’t plan to have any, but with the amount of shoes we have, a build in shoe cabinet is a must!
  • Next to our living space is our dining area. Even though our dining area is relatively small, surprisingly this 1.2m dining table doesn't take up too much space. Fits perfectly here! One of our favourite places to be at whenever our guests come over.
  • For both our guest and master toilet, we only did some minor changes. The only thing we replaced was the sink (+ added a shower screen). So pleased that the HDB toilet wall tiles that they installed in our estate were quite nice and decent so we didn't hack or change any of it.
  • & here’s our master toilet. Took this pic during the early days of our reno
  • Our Master bedroom. Will show more details of our master in my later posts but here’s a little peek.
  • Still on a hunt for bedside tables but using our Aykasa Crates as a temporary one at the moment.
  • Our bare kitchen post reno.
  • I guess that’s all for now, we hope you enjoyed the quick house tour of @ruma.theluqs! We will definitely share more parts of our house real soon. Stay tuneddd :) Do follow us on IG @ruma.theluqs for latest updates!
