Who says a small entryway can’t pack a punch? Ours might be compact, but we’ve managed to squeeze in a full-height and two half-height shoe cabinets. Also a little storage nook at the side. It’s all about making the most out of every corner while keeping things out of sight. Curious how we pulled it off? Stick around and read on, you’re in for some serious small space inspo! Let’s zoom in to our entryway floor plan! At that time, we realised we only had 20cm of space to play with, and it really got us thinking if it was worth going for built-in storage or even concealing the bomb shelter. In the end, we’re so glad we went for it! Every little detail came together perfectly, proving that even the tiniest spaces can be functional and stylish with the right planning. Want to see how it turned out? Keep reading! Full-Height Shoe Cabinet ✨ This one’s for us! Perfectly designed to store all of mine and my husband’s shoes. From work shoes to casual wear, each pair has its spot, making it super easy to stay organised. The full-height design makes the most of vertical space, while the closed-door keeps everything looking clean and tidy. We also opted for a recessed handle and magnetic closing for a sleek, seamless look that blends beautifully with the space. These cabinets are all about practicality for the family! The top and bottom cabinet is perfect for mum and our helper’s daily shoes, making it super accessible. However, the top one hasn’t been fully utilised yet, which probably means it’s time for a shoe shopping spree! Having separate cabinets for different needs keeps everything organised and clutter-free. Who says a settee is just for sitting? We’ve made ours work extra hard by turning it into a storage solution! It’s the perfect spot for keeping all our socks neatly organised and within reach. Super convenient for those quick last-minute dashes out the door. This one’s a bit special. A dedicated shoe cabinet just for our little one. Tucked neatly under the DB box, it’s sized perfectly for those tiny shoes and sandals. Having a specific space for her things not only keeps us organised but also makes it easy for her to grab her shoes as she grows 🥰 To clearly define the entryway from the rest of the house, we went for a bold choice with this terrazzo tile. It’s definitely one of the stand-out features in our home, and yes, my husband fondly calls it the “cow” tile – can you see the resemblance? We were initially nervous about going this bold, but it turned out to be the perfect decision. We wanted something strikingly different, and terrazzo brought just the right amount of personality to the space. Although I would have loved to explore breaking and combining different tiles manually, I felt it would be a more expensive option. Terrazzo gave us the statement look we wanted without stretching the budget too much! And that’s how we turned our small entryway into a functional space that makes a bold first impression. From clever storage solutions to statement flooring, every detail was thoughtfully planned to suit our needs and reflect our personality. Whether it’s the “cow” tiles or hidden storage, we’re so glad we took these creative steps to make the most of our space. Hope this inspires you to think outside the box for your own home!
