  • Hello everyone! In this week’s post, we’ll be sharing about our bedroom, a private sanctuary designed for us to rest and unwind, recovering from our overall well-being. We’d always dreamt of having a platform bed combined with full blackout curtains. The curtains help block out external lights; creating a dark and cosy environment for us, improving our sleep quality! We didn’t have full blackout curtains in our own home previously, it really was an issue especially when the sun’s out shining (sleep deprived!) anyone else can relate to this? #IYKYK We specially designed a curve edge for the platform as it creates a softer and cosier look, enhancing the overall comfort in the bedroom. This also reduces risk of kicking into sharp edges, especially our toes (the victim always!!!) 😖
  • Beside our platform bed, we have our dressing table from Taobao! We didn’t want to have a built in dresser because we wanna have the freedom to move it freely whenever we like to, and just in case this dresser fail us earlier than expected, we can replace it easily too. We kept the dresser minimal, having only the essentials, mostly used on a daily basis. Incorporated curve edges to the dressing table as well 👀
  • Adding a touch of uniqueness in the bedroom with this dressing chair, while maintaining its minimal elegance! ✨
  • Inspired by hotels, we have our rounded bedside wall lamp, along with an extra socket (so important!!) and switches to control the lightings in the bedroom. For convenience, we have the same set on each side of the bed, but switches on both sides are made to control different sets of lights. We purposely requested for a two-way control, so that we can switch the lights on & off even when we’re in bed. No more arguing about who’s gonna get out of bed to switch off the lights 😏
  • Other than dreaming of a platform bed, a walk in wardrobe or a full length (top to bottom) wardrobe has always been on our mind. This was originally the bedroom 2 which we hacked and transform it into a wardrobe space instead. As you can see, we really love the idea of curves, it really plays a part in creating a softer look for the rooms! 🥱
  • Elevating our bedroom and wardrobe area with a full length mirror and white stylish rug! This is where most outfits are chosen and ootds taken 📸
  • A closer look of our wardrobe! There’s ample storage in here, offering plenty of spaces to keep our clothings and other belongings neat and tidy. No more worrying over storage spaces, more reasons to shop for more! 😌 If you’ve stayed till the end, we hope you’re not asleep yet! Thank you for reading, till the next one. 🫶🏻
