  • Hello everyone! Welcome to my entryway tour for @littlecupabode! Even though this is just a small corner of my home, I've learned that intentional furnishing and decoration choices can create a cohesive look. To complement the natural wood theme characteristic of Japandi-inspired designs, I carefully selected pieces based on their colours and functionality.
  • As the centerpiece of this space, I wanted a statement piece. I found this shoe cabinet on Taobao for a surprisingly affordable price, considering its size and quality. It even arrived fully assembled, saving me a lot of hassle. I love how it fits perfectly in the window nook!
  • And can we talk about those beautiful cabinet door details? Practically speaking, I needed a spacious shoe cabinet to store my growing footwear collection and keep the floor clutter-free. The drawers above the shoe cupboards are also perfect for storing small items like socks, sanitisers, and tissues, which I often need on the go. This keeps the cabinet top free of clutter as well, so I can showcase my favourite keepsakes!
  • Looking for the perfect mirror was a pain-in-the-*** and I finally settled for this simple IKEA floor length mirror as a temporary and safe measure. It's definitely not the final look but for now, it would have to do.
  • As a lover of aromatics and candles, this entryway was the perfect place to showcase my collection. Imagine entering your home and being greeted by the delightful scents emanating from this area. Additionally, since this is where we track in dirt, having pleasant aromas and ample storage can help to keep the space clean and inviting.
  • If you read my living room article, you'll know that I'm a collector of energy crystals. I like to keep the wearable ones near the door so I can choose the energy I want to bring out with me each day. Having a box or tray in a visible spot is also a great way to store your keys, hand cream, and other essential items!
  • Thanks for reading about my entryway. I hope this inspires you in some way or form. If you like what you see or have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment below. I'll be happy to answer them! Until the next part of my house tour, see ya!
