A comfortable and clutter-free WFH workspace to inspire productivity

Welcome back to home updates by ej_project home! This week we will explore the WFH space! Post-Covid and in the new norm, working from home is integral part of our lives. So it is important that we have a functional and comfortable working space, that helps to inspire productivity and creativity. For this space, we did a built-in arched shelf to display some of our decor items. We also kept clutter away such as papers and files in the cabinets and baskets.
We are always sitting down in front of our computers when we work from home. So it is extremely important to get an ergonomic chair for better posture support and comfort. The table is also adjustable, so we could stand and work after meals, or even do a little workout (on the walking pad) while working.
We are pretty OCD with exposed wires and we like to keep everything organized - there is a hole in the table behind the monitor whereby we can neatly tuck our exposed wires.
Also wanted to share about this smart home switch that we use to remotely control our electronics at home with just our phones. We were initially a little sceptical about investing in a smart home system, but it turns out to be very convenient and useful!
