  • Right from the start, we wanted a proper communal space not just for hosting guests, but a place where we could share meals and conversations after a long day of work. So we decided to hack down the walls of one of the bedrooms and extended the living space!
  • This beautiful Tali table slab from Table Guy is definitely the centrepiece of our dining setup. It's likely imported from East/Southern parts of Africa, and is a reddish-hued relative of the popular Mahogany wood. This 2m table cost us a pretty penny but we have zero regrets for this purchase!
  • Our table is accompanied with deliberately mismatched custom chairs/benches from a local manufacturer (Second Charm)! We really like how each furniture had their own personality, yet had a consistent color theme too.
  • To complete the look, we chose accessories and designs to soften the 'hard' look of the furniture. From our arch, to the flowy day curtains from Aratamete and the table runner from Crate and Barrel, there are so many ways we could style the space to help make it a more cosy one!
