  • Welcome to our kitchen! As we do cook quite a bit (and expect to cook more when we expand our family), we decided to get a dishwasher to avoid argument on who should wash the dishes hehe. We also opted for induction hob for a sleeker look and easier maintenance. Back in our own homes where we use gas stove, the cleaning was a chore and we wanted to avoid that issue. Seriously one of the best home decision ever! A huge fridge was what the husband requested to and since we could afford the space with a bigger kitchen layout, we decided on this sleek looking side by side fridge from Samsung. Generally our kitchen design is quite practical, we opted for top cabinets on one side for storage space, and open shelves for the opposite side for a more spacious look.

  • By the way, we really recommend installing this cove lights as it really adds to the cozy vibes. Sometimes we just turn on these lights to illuminate the space even when we are not using the kitchen.
  • We prefer to clear our countertop space as much as possible so we can have space for food prep, so this magnetic knife block was a must have for us (plus it looks so aesthetically pleasing as well).
  • Can we just say, having a wall fan in the kitchen is such a good idea, especially when it’s hot from cooking food or just doing general cleaning. It also helps to ventilate the space and air dry our dishwares faster too! On our open shelves we mainly just display some Knick knacks and dishwares we typically use on a regular basis for easier reach.
