We love Scandinavian interior design. We did it for our previous home & we continue to do the same for the current one. Only difference is that this time we have a bigger budget so we can do some of the things we've always wanted to. 
Why Scandinavian? Because it is clean cut, warm, and efficient. No matter the size of the room, if one follows the thinking behind one can make the space an aesthetic & livable one. In our humble opinion, one very important ingredient to get the look right is the wood flooring. Scandinavian living is all about using natural materials. While there are pros & cons to real wood the same can be said of other materials. We had chosen a neutral colour palette for most parts of the house. This is to create that warm & calming effect that's associated with a Scandi interior. Of course there's no stopping anyone to try to add colours to show off your personality & creativity. The truth of the matter is that we call our theme Scandi because we were, & still are, influenced by this ever popular style. But whether or not we've achieved the look will be decided by whoever sees our pictures. Thanks for stopping by. See you at the next one.
