  • Welcome to our dining room where it’s equal parts dining space and art gallery! Our dining room is more than just a space for meals. We regularly have guests over, and there’s something about the warmth and atmosphere that makes every gathering feel special.
  • Here are two photos showing how the space looked in the past. It's nice to look back and see how much it has evolved over time. These photos capture the earlier stages of the room’s transformation and give a glimpse of where it all began.
  • The dining space is surrounded with not one but two gallery walls. It’s filled with pieces we love, each adding to the room's character and charm. Many of the paintings are preloved treasures, each bringing a bit of history to the room, while a few are new additions I picked up directly from talented artists. Together, they create a curated mix of styles and stories that make the space feel personal. It’s a blend of old and new, with each piece adding its own special touch.
  • The lighting in here is all about setting the right mood. We rarely use the recessed lighting, instead opting for floor and table lamps that provide a soft, inviting glow. We also avoid cool white and bright lighting, preferring warm, dimmer lighting that adds a cozy ambiance to the space. This creates the perfect setting for evening gatherings and makes dinnertime feel even more special. It’s one of the reasons we love hosting at night!
  • Here’s a photo from one of our Christmas dinners last year, when we had some friends over to celebrate. Feel free to check out last year’s Christmas decor post on my profile. Thanks for joining me on this little tour of our dining room! Hope you enjoyed the peek!
