  • Hello there! Happy to welcome you to our modern minimalist home inspired by a morandi colour palette. Our house is a 1300 sqft space which consists 3 bedroom, a wet and dry kitchen and a spacious living dining room. Our renovations took about 4 months and we moved in just on the cusp of Chinese New Year Eve! Keep scrolling if you'd like to see the rest of the place!
  • This is the original layout of our home. We loved the living and dining room space as our kids would have a place to run about. But we preferred a more interactive space for our kitchen and we needed more storage space.
  • In the end, we converted the study room space to a dry kitchen area as an extension of the wet kitchen. Also, we converted the original walkway of the master bedroom into a sizable storeroom. With that change, we also reconfigured the master bedroom toilet which allows more natural light into it.
  • One of the few organic parts of our home, we featured this olive tree on a plinth in our living room to add some naturality to our place.
  • A feature of our TV wall where we showcase some memories of our lives together thus far.
  • One design element we insisted on: no top cabinets in the kitchen! Except our dishrack which we designed with a side door instead of the usual top one. A dishwasher always comes in handy for post-party cleaning.
  • This pillar at the kitchen left us with many ideas for design. A bookshelf? A photo collage? A multi-niche feature wall? In the end, we went with the classic mirror-on-the-wall-to-expand-your-living-space design.
  • A bookshelf in both our children's rooms that shelved their favourite reads.
  • Does this furniture look familiar? Stay tuned to find out how we modify this piece of furniture into our child's wardrobe!
  • Curved and round elements are consistent through our home, with this big round mirror being one of them. We love our minimalist vanity faucet that we had to get for our other toilet as well!
  • Another big round mirror!
  • This wall lamp in the space between the common bedrooms and the common toilet accentuated the texture from our limewashed walls. A must-have pairing in our opinion!
