  • When we set out to design our master bedroom, our goals were clear: we wanted a room that served as a peaceful retreat while doubling as a practical work-from-home (WFH) area. At 3.2m x 6.7m, this larger-than-average bedroom offers the perfect footprint for both rest and productivity.
  • Since I work from home every day and my husband joins in a few days a week, we needed the room to feel productive without looking like a typical office. This room's ample natural light makes it ideal for WFH, but to avoid an office vibe, we leaned into a warm, homely aesthetic. Our furniture choices are relaxed and practical, allowing us to flow easily between work and relaxation.
  • Keeping the bedroom cozy yet work-friendly has made it easy to separate work from leisure. When the workday ends, a few simple steps like tidying up work materials into storage baskets help shift the focus to relaxation. This flexibility makes the room feel like an extension of our home rather than just a workspace. For us, the success of this room lies in its adaptability. It’s a space designed to meet our family’s needs and reflect our lifestyle—welcoming, cozy, and versatile.
  • One of our favorite features in this room is the bay window, which we designed with storage in mind. It holds essentials like our printer and organizing baskets, but it also brings a sense of calm and purpose to the space.
