  • Are you a busy working mum with kids to feed and no time to water or care for delicate plants? Does one more thing to maintain just add to your stress? Going faux is OKAY. You'll instantly up the cosiness factor of your home but without all the hassle. Don't worry, nobody actually judges if you use fake or real. (Maybe nobody can even tell). Like my fake Monstera here, which proudly sits atop my entryway pegboard. Nobody really looks closely at it to figure out if its real or not.
  • I like to add one fake plant for every decorated spot in the home. A touch of (fake) greenery is important to giving that extra aesthetic dimension. Without it, a home really looks cold and bland.
  • The dangling tendrils of hanging plants add texture and interest. Hooga's great for trendy looking plants.
  • Fake plants can be used to disguise electronics in the house...
  • ...And dress up niches...
  • ...and even add style and flair to a bathroom setup. Pick the shades of the leaves carefully. If you're lucky like me, it will end up matching your bath towels!
