  • Hey there! Welcome to our humble home filled with well-loved secondhand and refurbished goods. Our refurbishing journey started out when we were searching for secondhand homeware for our rental apartment, we wanted something that was usable but also affordable for our short lease. This idea continued onto our home and have never looked back. You'll find refurbished and reloved pieces picked up from the most unlikely places in our home. If you're keen to try refurbishing/refreshing or have chapalang pieces of furniture that you've picked up that don't seem to match... we've been there and got you covered 😉
  • To start off, here's a look at our floorplan. We opted for a 4R BTO in Tampines north, and chose to knock down our third bedroom to make our living space bigger, and what's left are the beams that used to hold the walls in place. We did very minimal carpentry as we loved having loose furniture to keep our layout flexible. The only built-ins we have are in our kitchen and toilets, which are sufficient for our lifestyle.
  • Our living space is a collection of all our favourite items, from lamps to decor they are unique in their own way yet fit perfectly together!
  • You'll notice we don't have a sofa here, we prefer leaving this open and flexible whenever we wish to change our layout. Yet emulating a cozy and intimate space for late night chit chats.
  • Remember the room we knocked down? This is where we placed our refurbished pallet sofa to watch movies on our projector or just to sit back and chill when we are not hosting.
  • And right next to it we have our refurbished chest of drawers, for extra storage and a place to display our nicknacks
  • Ever since getting our home, we've started accumulating more plant folks who've become an integral part of our decor.

  • We also love adding splashes of colour through paint, in this instance, our light switches – it brings us small joys whenever we turn on the lights 😁
  • And finally, our bedroom – it's also made up of loose furniture that we thrifted for our rental apartment. We sanded and repainted our bed frame to give it a fresh new look. And that's all folks! Stay tuned for more refurbishing goodness. ~ Nay & ZQ
