Our master bedroom toilet - A safe haven for us to ease our senses at the start and end of the day. It was very important to us to get this part of the house right.
Created a little corner of respite in the loo with a spanish moss. It's such a calming sight to be greeted with greenery in the toilet. There isn't much sunlight that comes through the window, so we went for an artificial plant that doesn't require much of maintenance! We're pretty pleased with the look!
We curated a mix of 4 different types of tiles, all put together to complement one another with its textures and patterns. The terrazzo tiles helped add character to the shower area.
It was right till the last part of adding the water fixtures did our ID realise the tap could not fit. It became a blessing in disguise when they decided to instead carve out a curve on the shelf so that the tap would fit.
When it comes to styling, every detail counts - even down to a speckled white & grooved-patterned toilet roll holder with wood dowel so that it would match against the terracotta tiles. That's right, even grabbing for that toilet roll has to be a pleasure to the eyes!
