A simple and functional entrance

Here’s our entryway - or more of a porch - since it is outside the home! We’ve assembled this simple floor mat to step on while we wear our shoes, a bench, and a simple shoe cabinet.

Here’s a different angle, the bench really helps for food/parcel deliveries! The materials we chose are also outdoor friendly, waterproof and easy to clean.
This door drop seal was recommended by another homeowner and I must say it’s enabled peace of mind that no insects can enter 🙈
As for why we don’t have an entryway, it’s because the main door (circled orange) leads directly into our hall / kitchen island 😂 Thanks for reading!
