    • Here's how we styled for Christmas in Casito Chan! Family and friend get-togethers are regular events in our house, and we enjoy putting together a beautiful Christmas table to add to the mood and ambience. For a party, we pull out our dining table and extend it so more people can sit together and have a meal.
    • A Japanese-style table runner , potted plants, fairy lights and candle mini-pots complete the mood.
    • A Christmas tree sits next to the kids' playroom, looking very much like a Santa elf hideout. We favour very simple, earthy colours for our Christmas tree. A tree skirting is essential for hiding the bottom of the tree.
    • Simple, earthy and gold tones adorn our tree.
    • The pièce de résistance is the holly garland draped over the kitchen bar light. The colour and shape of the holly leaves and the way its suspended in such a dramatic fashion in the centre of the open kitchen really sets a strong Christmas ambience. Thats it for Christmas efforts this year! We may try something different next year :)
