  • Hi welcome to our kitchen! We didn’t plan on having an all white kitchen. It was our ID who suggested it and it turned out well and fit into our modern contemporary theme. Our kitchen is separated into wet and dry areas. This picture is the before pic before the appliances came in
  • This is after the appliances are delivered and the kitchen is fully functional. The kitchen wall has been hacked down and replaced with half carpentry and glass panel to allow light into the kitchen.
  • The dry kitchen consists of a huge countertop, a large drawer to keep bowls and plates, microwave and a pantry cabinet. The large countertop can be used as a second dining table. Or as a serving table to serve food since it’s situated right next to the dining room. Pendant and track lights to light up this area in the evening. We chose to go with Vulcan for our countertop and backsplash because it’s very durable. It is stain and heat resistant.
  • The space is large enough to house a french door refrigerator and pantry cabinet
  • The pantry cabinet is made up of Blum drawers. This allows us easy access to snacks
  • The other side of the dry kitchen consists of the microwave and a large drawer.
  • The usage of drawers and large amount of storage cabinets allow us to hide the clutter and keep the kitchen neat and tidy
  • Synchronised glass sliding door separates the dry and wet kitchen
  • We chose glass sliding door so that sunlight can still enter the wet kitchen keeping it bright. Glass being transparent also gives the illusion of a bigger space.
  • The pastel pendant lights are the statement pieces in our kitchen
  • The wet kitchen area
  • Dish rack is concealed with a lifting door. As we prefer gas hobs. We opted for a small 3 burner 60cm gas hob to maximise countertop space
  • Cabinets for storage and for concealing sewage pipes and rubbish chute. Steigen solar as the laundry rack system to dry our clothes. It also serves as a light source for this kitchen area.
  • Sewage pipe is concealed behind cabinet and the cabinet is also large enough for a laundry basket
  • Rubbish chute is also concealed.
  • So is the spice rack
  • And gas cylinder
  • The large counter area allows us to install an 86cm big stainless steel sink
  • Nexus power rail to power up our small appliances like kettle and coffee machine.
  • Due to the large area of a maisonette, there is a third bathroom in the kitchen. This is the only bathroom on the first floor
