  • Welcome to our master bathroom toilet! We retained both wall and floor tiles from HDB, but switched out the egg shell crates and shower head. Curved corners, round basin and mirror to create a soothing atmosphere.
  • Customised carpentry with shelvings here to fill up the awkward space! Keeping things simple. Opted for 3K LED lights for a cosy, warm ambiance.
  • Here’s the 3D render. Our laminates are actually same as our bedroom. Our ID also suggested to upgrade to marine plywood since we chose not to install a glass shower partition. Marine plywood is supposedly highly water resistant and can withstand prolonged exposure to water and moisture, as compared to the usual ones that IDs normally use. With that being said, we also use a squeegee stick to speed up the process of draining the excess water on the floor after every shower. :)
  • Switched out HDB’s default shower set to a rain shower set as Mr really likes it. 🌧️ Unpopular choice, but we decided to keep HDB’s original toilet bowl even though it’s not so aesthetically pleasing (due to the tap on the cistern). For us, the flush was surprisingly decent and it works well, so we don’t see a point in changing it in the first place. Probably in the future when it starts to spoil~
  • After searching high and low for a suitable shampoo rack, we decided to just go for customised quartz ledge by our ID. While it’s pricier than usual shampoo racks, it’s worth it since it’s ‘built in’ and easy to clean too! Till the next post!
