Welcome back, dear visitor! Step right into our main sleeping area, a place where we recharge our weary souls in hopes of waking up refreshed to tackle the day ahead😹 Originally, this area served as the common room, situated right next to the master bedroom. However, we made the decision to transform it into our sleeping area due to its ample space and slightly larger dimension compared to the original master bedroom. This change enables us to bring and create our design vision to life, creating a cosy space to unwind and find solace after a long day. So, let's explore further, and we genuinely hope you'll find it just as cosy and inviting as we do!
Next up, let's talk about the blackout wabi-sabi blinds that we selected to dress our windows. We wanted to create a peaceful atmosphere during the night, free from any intrusive light. Black was the chosen colour to align with the darker theme we envisioned for our sleeping area.We chose blinds for easier maintenance and to give the room a sleeker, simpler look. A darker bedroom creates a calming effect, making it the perfect setup for a restful night's sleep, wouldn't you agree? 😼
To provide more light output in the room, we added LED bedside pendant lights. Not only do they act as extra decor, but they are also affordable and don't take up much floor space😽
Of course, the room won't be complete without a bedside table. It serves as a convenient storage space for our phone chargers and reading materials. This piece of furniture is one of our fantastic Taobao shopping finds, acquired at an incredibly affordable price. We couldn't be happier with this wonderful addition!😺
We opted for Schneider switches and sockets in a sleek dark grey shade to perfectly complement the full-height laminated side panels. Needless to say, our decision proved to be absolutely satisfying😻
It's a given that every space should smell amazing! We recently received this as a housewarming gift, and we're absolutely smitten with it! This little gem is compact and spreads a delightful scent throughout the entire room. And to top it all off, it matches the colour scheme of our room perfectly!
