  • Building out the bedroom started with the painting and carpet, as I needed to incorporate my family’s extra furniture and storage items into the place. As the overall vibe for the apartment is grey, it was a given that the bed frame was going to be similar and the wood of the frame had to match the flooring. In order to maximise space with a king bed, I chose a less bulky bed frame. From there, I decided to bring out more of the colours that popped from the painting - which in this case was green. I found this secondhand Kartell Fly Pendant light which made the room more contemporary
  • As the master bathroom does not have any power points, I needed to have a vanity table. This vanity table from HipVan was the perfect dimension to fit exactly against the wall of the closet and bathroom hallway. I added a panel of lights from ikea at the top part Because the area is tight, I wanted to make sure that my stool was compact enough to fit underneath and wouldn’t be too heavy in case I needed to move it around. This Philippe Starkk for Kartell stool is a deep purple that provided a contrast to the green pendant light but complimented it at the same time.
  • It was essential to have a wardrobe that could fit more clothes, and this chest was perfect as there are enough drawers to seperate and organise all my different clothes. The painting was placed as a contrast to the other wall’s painting which is more muted. This brings together the bolder colors in the room and complements the missoni runner. PS. The bear is a light!
