  • This was how the previous master bedroom looked like. See how the wardrobe was just beside the toilet door? We decided that we wanted to have a bigger wardrobe space and chose to change the position of our master bedroom's door entrance! So we shifted the master bedroom's door to be beside the master toilet, and for the rest of the space to be available for our L-shaped wardrobe.
  • The previous owner had frosted windows in their rooms. It's great for privacy... but we wanted to let all the natural light in. And when we didn't want the natural light, we would just draw the curtains. This was at the messiest period of renovation - hacking. We hacked away everything! Including the flooring because we were going to put in new tiles that we LOVED!
  • Our IDs helping us "shift" the position of our master bedroom's entrance!
  • Laying new tiles in our master bedroom!
  • Ahhh!! Much better!! More light that streams into our master bedroom!! We got ZGH Aluminium to do up all our windows and window grilles throughout the entire house.
  • This was them "patching" back the original location of the door entrance so that we could have our bigger wardrobe space. It was all slowly coming in together!! And the electricians were also coming in to do their work.
  • We went through many rounds of revising how our wardrobe layout would be like before they started on carpentry fabrication. And it was like watching everything that we had envisioned and drawn on paper coming to life when it was all installed.
  • With the doors!! We knew we didn't want handles so these have recessed areas for us to grip and open the wardrobe doors. Everything looks so different with the lightings and carpentry all done up, and they started clearing up the debris out of our home. So much spaceeee!! We were in love with everything when we first saw this! It was everything and more that we had envisioned and dreamed of. Well, that's it for this week's before-and-after of our master bedroom. Stay close for next week as we reveal more things about the master bedroom and what YOU should take note of when creating your own space! Till then, byeee :)
