  • - Week 7 Post- Our laundry area is super functional and neatly organized with a modern touch. The highlight is the sleek automated drying rack mounted on the ceiling, perfect for saving space and blending with the monochrome theme. A front-loading washing machine is tucked under a custom wooden countertop from Taobao that doubles as a workspace and shelf for organizing laundry essentials. The bifold door adds a nice touch, keeping the area enclosed while still looking bright and open.
  • Here’s a closer look at our laundry setup, which is both functional and space-efficient. We’ve got a front-load washing machine paired with a sleek wooden countertop for folding clothes or organizing items. Right beside it, we’ve included open shelving for essentials like detergent and storage bins, keeping everything neat and easy to grab. Our top-load washer sits snugly on a raised platform, giving it a slight lift while tying into the overall setup. To maximize the area, we kept things simple yet practical, making sure everything has its place while still looking clean and modern.
  • Here's the Before reno photo, where we removed the given HDB clothes rack. We painted the pipes black to align to our dark contemporary theme.
  • Another Before Reno photo where the area seems huge without any carpentry and fixtures.
  • We kept the doors and windows as they are quite costly to be removed. We may consider spray painting in the future as some of the grey paint has faded and peeled.
  • Here's the after photo where our kitchen is divided by the folding doors. We have an open kitchen concept which makes our kitchen/dining area spacious. Thanks for reading through and popping by! Follow and connect with us @2chocolatecaramel!!!
