  • Hi everyone! Just thought I’d shared a few of our most favourite pieces of home decor that we’ve slowly added to our place that makes it more “us”. Starting with this poster, we picked it up while on holiday in the UK and it’s a print of vintage style illustrations of vegetables that felt natural to place in the kitchen. We mounted it using a magnetic wood poster hanger but instead of hanging it, we secured it to the wall with 3M tape for a sleeker look! The poster hanger also serves an additional purpose of stopping our fridge door from banging into the wall and damaging it.
  • Moving past the kitchen and into the guest bathroom, we have a collage of 9 Japanese style postcards alongside a wavy puddle shaped mirror. The collage was a DIY project, utilising the art cards that came within the monthly Japanese snack boxes we subscribe to, with an IKEA frame. We also like how it seems to have become a little bit of a conversation starter among our guests!
  • Heading back out to our living room, we have probably our favourite piece of furniture, The Burger Pouf! We like how it adds colour and a little personality to the space, and it was a cash and carry purchase that we regretted not getting after we first encountered it in store. Luckily for us, it was still there 2 months later!!
  • Lastly, and probably the most impactful, was the decor upgrade we gave our bed. We didn’t have a headboard for the longest time, and couldn’t settle on if we needed one/what we wanted.
  • Then we finally found one we liked! This is ojr headboard, and it’s actually a large white headboard pillow that is just resting on our bed and against the wall. We feel that it really does complete the space and adds a layer of softness and coziness.
